The ICU is an area dedicated to the care of patients with serious health conditions that require constant monitoring and hemodynamic or ventilatory support. At Clinaltec, our Adult ICU is equipped with advanced technology and has a multidisciplinary team led by intensivists, available 24 hours a day to ensure the best possible care for our patients.
Our Adult ICU has independent cubicles and is supported by the clinic's comprehensive services, including all clinical and surgical specialties. Clinaltec's technological and diagnostic infrastructure allows us to solve highly complex health problems with the highest quality standards, ensuring an overall survival and success rate in the care of the adult critical patient.
Clinaltec's Adult Intermediate Care Unit provides medical assistance to potentially critical patients in need of specific treatment and life-sustaining therapeutic measures. This unit is characterized by offering superior care and continuous monitoring, similar to the ICU, but for cases that do not require the level of intensity of the ICU.
As in the ICU, the Intermediate Care service focused on adults provides humanized treatment and constant accompaniment to patients 7 days a week. The unit has 10 beds, each equipped with specialized technology for individual care.
The ICU and Intermediate Care units are located on the second floor of Clinaltec, adjacent to the Perioperative Functional Unit (operating rooms), allowing timely attention in case of complications. Our infrastructure is one of the most complete for critical patient care, with highly specialized medical and auxiliary personnel and state-of-the-art equipment, including three ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation) devices.
