You are important to Clinaltec, so we present you the rights and duties you have as a patient of our institution.

These were established internationally in order to generate a respectful and humanized relationship between patients and healthcare personnel.

Duties:

Treated Conditions
  • Give truthful information about your medical history and other data requested by the institutional staff. Follow the medical indications of all members of the health care team.
  • To know, exercise and fulfill with full responsibility the rights and duties granted and imposed by the social security health system.
  • To settle the account corresponding to the services received, both from health professionals and from the Institution itself.
  • Take care of your health and that of your community.
  • Report to the Institution's personnel any situation that he/she considers anomalous or that may violate his/her rights as a human being and patient.
Tests and Treatments Offered
  • Offer dignified, respectful and considerate treatment to all personnel of the Institution and to other patients.
  • Not to discriminate against any person because of race, sex, condition or religious worship.
  • Respect the indications contained in Clinaltec S.A.S. patient information leaflets.
  • Careful treatment of Clinaltec S.A.S. property.
  • Report news in case you are unable to attend the consultation on time.
  • Arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment or procedure time.

Rights:

  • Receive dignified and considerate treatment, being respected in their beliefs and customs, and being able to express their personal opinion about their illness.
  • Review and receive explanations about costs for services from both health care professionals and the clinic.
  • Receive or refuse spiritual, moral or religious support in accordance with their convictions.
  • To be respected in their will to accept or refuse organ donation for transplantation to other patients.
  • To die with dignity and to have their wishes respected to allow the dying process to take its natural course in the terminal phase of the disease.
  • To freely choose the physician or health professional, as well as the health care institution that will provide care within available resources.
  • To be respected in their will to accept or not to participate in research conducted by scientifically qualified personnel. Likewise, to be informed about the objectives, methods, possible benefits, foreseeable risks and discomforts that the research process may involve.
  • Receive the best medical care available during the entire process of the disease, but respecting their wishes in case of irreversible disease.
  • That the information contained in your Medical History be treated confidentially and secretly and that only with your authorization can it be known.
  • Enjoy clear communication with the physician, allowing you to have information regarding the proposed illness, procedure and/or treatment. You have the right to have your family members, in case of incapacity or minority, consent to or refuse these procedures in writing.
  • To be expected 15 minutes after the first call from the specialist.
